NOT I BUT CHRIST

Not I, but Christ, be honoured, loved, exalted Not I, but Christ, be seen, be known, be heard Not I, but Christ, in every look and action Not I, but Christ, in every thought and word. O to be saved from myself, dear Lord, O to be lost in Thee, O that it might be no more I, But Christ, that lives in me. Not I, but Christ, to gently soothe in sorrow Not I, but Christ, to wipe the falling tear Not I, but Christ, to lift the weary burden Not I, but Christ, to hush away all fear. Not I, but Christ, in lowly silent labour Not I, but Christ, in humble, earnest toil Christ, only Christ! No show, no ostentation Christ, none but Christ, the gatherer of the spoil. Christ, only Christ, ere long will fill my vision Glory excelling soon, full soon I’ll see Christ, only Christ, my every wish fulfilling Christ, only Christ, my all in all to be. Galatians 2:20

Give Us O Lord, Thine Unction. [Hymn of Prayer]

Give us o Lord thine unction Anoint us for thine work Arise and set us in motion O Lord the Man of war. Baptize us Lord with thy fire And set our Souls aflame To burn and shine for thy cause, Revive your zeal in us. Refine us Lord and cleanse us, Clothe us in holiness; Transform our thoughts and nature, Till we your glory show. New Hearts, more love, more passion For Souls in Satan’s train With hook or net use us still Make us fishers of men. Not gold, not power, not knowledge Will thy Heavens unlock But prayer and faith and unity Will bring the latter Rain. With tears and groans and fasting O Lord, help us to pray Travailing as in birth for Souls Till you revive the Church.

SAVIOUR PLEASE. - A cry for Grace

SAVIOUR FAIL NOT TO CALL ME When Strong Temptations Surrounds Me, And The World’s Tempest Face Me,  And Satan Comes In Like A Friend,  Pushing Strong For Me To Fall. Saviour please fail not to call me, As thou did'st Adam in Eden, Saying where art thou oh sinner, That I may be saved from ruins. When Satan comes with his deceits, Showing heights of worldly fame, For my heart to bow and worship, Just to gain worldly acclaim. When the devil comes compelling, Forcing me Thy will to shun At my right hand stands resisting, Falsely cries it shall be well When I'm bent to go my own way, To do all my feel and will, When my heart and mind keep panting Neither hot and yet not cold When all friends and neighbours fail me  And all comforts fly away, Deep sorrows come overpowering; Like salt grains in tempest seas. As a dog that no more heareth, The hunter's whistles and calls I get lost in the world's wilderness, Hoping never to return. When my hope and my confidence, Get r

I HAVE PREPARED MY HEART FOR YOU. ( A Christian Hymn)

I have prepared my heart for You; O Lord come take Your Throne, Nothing must come within my soul, Nothing must break into my thoughts, No one must rise to take Your place, O Lord, come take Your Throne. I have reserved my lifetime for You; O Lord come take control, My life must serve Your purpose Lord, Living for You and dying to self, My all I give Your will to serve, O Lord come take control. I have released my whole being to You; O Lord come take Your own My heart, my soul and body, Lord! Once and for all and not bit by bit; I lay them all on the alter for You; O Lord come take Your own. I have referred my life's end to You, Dear Lord, then take me home, To see thy face is all I ask My Labour here must not be in vain. My hope, my joy is to reign with You O may i make it home. Amen.
